This is a wonderful B&B in a beautiful setting. The staff are delightful and efficient. We stayed overnight had an evening meal and breakfast. The evening meal was really good food and a very high standard. The rooms were excellent comfy and quirky. In the morning the breakfast was excellent. All this for a very reasonable price. Can't fault it.

I was extremely impressed with the Waddington Arms, not only did it look beautiful but the staff were also very helpful. The food here was excellent, both the evening meal and the breakfast! I particularly liked how much character the bedrooms have, wonderfully comfortable beds, tasteful decor and modern bathrooms. I couldn't have asked for any more during my stay here! I will be making another reservation here in the future.

Have to say first time we have tried this and was quite impressed apart from the fact that one of us had fish and chips and the other steak pie and chips and the chips in both cases comprised old chips (warmed up) and freshly cooked chips. The old chips were quite blackened and the fresh chips were as they should have been.
Mentioned this to our server who agreed that it wasn't good but obviously she was a schoolgirl who didn't have any authority so we just left it as it was.
Would still try again although hope they read these reviews and learn from them...

We popped into the Waddington Arms on a Thursday lunchtime. It was a lovely day and we sat out in the spacious beer garden and ordered lunch. The food was excellent and the service was very good. We have eaten and stayed there before, have always enjoyed the experience and will certainly return.

Room Tip: Rooms on the back are quieter but the village is pretty quiet in any case

After a weekend of revelry at the Beat Herder music festival, we were as tired and limp as an empty balloon. How lucky we were to find the excellent Waddington Arms for a restorative lunch. Obliging and friendly, Sarah served us top-notch gastropub food including scallops and black pudding, steak and ale pie, mussels and delicious roast duck. Our only regret was that our good friend Alberto Queso couldn't be there with us. Recommended.
