Was a fantastic experience and the history well worth going. The cafe was a nice place to eat and drink. Plenty of room outside

This is a beautiful Castle perched up high over looking the sea, it is seen from some miles off.

Was well worth visiting, it is so well kept /maintained really excellent staff and oozes with years of history from the family who own it and more.

Some really good staterooms and museum to visit, a lovely café to have a meal or a snack.

Was so nice taking our time to walk round and there was plenty of onsite parking.

Really wasn't what I'd hoped. Lacked chronology and explanation, mostly disjointed with a huge number of people being herded through. Wouldve benefitted from a free audio tour but this wasn't offered despite the symbols about the place but we'd booked online so we're just checked at the door and pushed through. Spotted Michael Portilo there filming for TV too.

The castle itself was lovely, although very crowded inside and quite difficult to be socially distant with other visitors. In the Clock Tower Tea Rooms the staff were very friendly however the wait for just sandwiches was 35 minutes and when my order arrived the bread was rock hard, warm and inedible. Several other visitors had issues with their food orders and there was a queue for a refund, whilst I was queueing for a refund the chef came out and told the staff that he refused to make any more food orders.
