We stayed at Port Perry from 2nd October to 5th October, our extended family group ranged from ages 13 to 65 plus Rosie the dog, Port Perry was a lovely welcoming house with plenty of room for everyone to spread out, but have to admit spent most of our time around the extra large dining table playing games ranging from bingo to monopoly, there are some lovely beach walks and plenty to do for everyone, thanks for a lovely stay.

Although only the two of us and two dogs it was a relaxing holiday home with very clean spacious bedrooms and there would be ample space for larger groups.
The garden is very secure for dogs and the addition of wi-fi did help in finding local attractions and pubs along with seeing what the weather held in store for us.
A few minor niggles with the main bedroom window not shutting properly, light bulb in the hallway not working (found a replacement in the cleaners cupboard) and the TV in the main lounge had been switched onto the old anolouge system (took me a while to work that one out).
But this in no way detracted from a lovely property in a good location and one that we would hope to visit again.

Our two families got together with a range of ages of young people, from 6 to 28, with two dogs! The house gave us plenty of space to spread out and at the same time be together. The two lounges allowed us to have a quieter room whilst the games room and garden plenty of play time. The garden is secure and larger than expected, with room for two big dogs and young child to play! The beach is literally 5 minutes walk, which is fabulous and clean in itself. A great time was had by all, thank you.

Great house in an amazing location. Fully equipped with all you need to look after a large group. Grand children appreciated the space both in and out doors. Meal times no problems and they were rewarded with fab play time on the great beach near by. Plenty to do in the immediate area and the birthday boy was happy with his birthday celebrations at Alnwick Gardens with birthday tea at the Treetop restaurant. Only pit fall is that the house was not as clean as it could be and in some places very tired looking. But this did not deter from what was a fab week. Would defiantly recommend for a large group.

Port Perry is a well equipped and comfortable house and was ideal for our large family group of three generations plus dog. On arrival we had a few minor hitches with heating but the owner quickly solved the problem and gave us useful information about the local area. She was very helpful and friendly.
The rooms are spacious and comfy and having two lounges was a real bonus. The four double bedrooms are big and it was lovely having two ensuite bathrooms in addition to the family bathroom.
It is only a few minutes walk to the local beach which is a wide, sandy bay and is ideal for dog walking and rock pool fishing. We spent a good few hours here.
Sea houses is the nearest centre with plenty of eateries and a co-op for your shopping and lots of small interesting local shops too. The baker and greengrocer opposite the co-op are very good. There is a small shop in Beadnell situated on the edge of the village on the road to Seahouses which sells essentials such as bread and milk and newspapers.
We really enjoyed our week at Port Perry and would recommend it to friends and family.
