“Lovely cottage in beautiful part of the world”

We had a very relaxing Christmas here and enjoyed ourselves immensely. This is a spacious, well equipped cottage with lovely little touches. It's clean, warm and very comfortable. The owner is so nice - couldn't do enough and was genuinely concerned about how we got along. The wine and chocolates on arrival was a classy touch, and it set the tone for our stay. Bringing our dog wasn't a problem at all, and it was a friendly experience overall. We hope to come back again soon!

“Perfect hosts, luxurious cottage, beautiful surroundings”
Reviewed 20 February 2013 for a stay in February 2013

Sometimes you don't want to be too honest with a review in case other people cotton onto your secret. Cove Cottage is a perfect example!

Anne and Brian are exemplary hosts whose insights are wonderful and we were so very grateful for their local recommendations. Lots of information inside the cottage with maps, guidebooks, information leaflets giving a wonderful insight to the history of the cottage and the local area.

The cottage is itself luxuriously furnished, certainly more than a 'holiday cottage', and the surroundings are beautiful. The sound of silence was perfectly relaxing and peaceful.

The kitchen is bigger than it looks on the photographs and it’s toasty cosy with the heating in the cold winter.

Outstanding areas of beauty on the doorstep and the major problem given to us was what to do and when. We really must visit again next year as there was so much to do – fingers crossed they’re not fully booked already!

Many thanks for the positive coments, its always lovely to get good feedback. So pleased you had such a wonderful time. The peace and quiet of the cottage is something we always enjoy when we get the chance to visit ourselves, then once relaxed, can enjoy the rest of the area. thanks again and visit again soon.

“A real home from home”
Reviewed 19 March 2012 for a stay in March 2012

The cottage is very well equiped, laid out and comfortable. A bottleof wine and card is a great welcome. The location for us is excellent with fantastic beaches in walking distance. Being able to rent Cove Cottage for a short break and take the dogs with us makes it a perfect place to relax and unwind.

“Very comfortable and a great location, one of the best cottages we've stayed in!”
Reviewed 4 March 2012 for a stay in February 2012

This is the second time that we've stayed at Cove Cottages, it's very comfortable and an ideal location for long walks up and down the Northumberland coast and National Park. The quality of the furnishings is first class from the open plan living- kitchen area right down to the bathroom towels. We would highly recommend this holiday accomodation to other travelers. The owners, Anne & Brian, are very helpful and accommodating as they accept dogs at Cove Cottages. We will be booking again next year.
