On our visits to Holy Island we have often stopped for morning or afternoon tea in this bright airy cafe. Always enjoy looking at the tasteful items displayed while waiting for our food.

We stopped off here for lunch and were so impressed I wanted to write a review. We had the smoked salmon pate which came presented beautifully with homemade chutney, coleslaw , deliciously dressed salad, oatcakes and tortilla crisps. It really was scrumptious. We had a beautiful homemade fruit scone ,butter and homemade raspberry jam -also delicious . The coffee was also good quality and frothy. While waiting for our meal I looked round the special displays of jewellery and unusual Nick nacks for sale which would make lovely gifts. This tea room is not really central but would be well worth a diversion to enjoy the really tasty fare.

Visited once or twice for lunch, reasonable menu, nice selection of home bakes, scones served with chutney. Friendly staff and a great variety of gifts. Give it a try.

Food was tasty and well presented. Coffee was good. Waitresses were fairly friendly. Service was a bit slow - we got the impression that one of the two waitresses was the cook. The gift shop areas had some very attractive displays. Pleasant atmosphere. There was a steady trickle of customers. The place was clean and well kept. We'll be happy to return.

Breeze is a smart coffee and gift shop. The cafe serves a reasonable selection of snacks, sandwiches, cakes etc and good quality coffee. I'd also like to congratulate them on having a teapot which, although it was of the catering stainless steel variety, had an actual spout that pours properly - what a refreshing change!

The gift shop stocks a smallish range of tasteful stuff at the higher end of the souvenir and gift market.

Service was friendly and efficient and the only downside for me while we were there was the morbid new age style of music they were playing. I don't mind a wee bit of New Age stuff, but somehow at 11 o'clock on a Saturday morning while having tea and scones it felt out of place.
