Do not normally review budget hotels, but felt this was worth it. OK, it is a Premier Inn so we all know what we are going to get - a room with a bed and a bathroom and that is about it. You do get free basic wifi thrown in which is alright for surfing the web, you pay extra for connection quality to stream movies.
This hotel is being expanded at the moment but we were not troubled by the work. The original rooms are a bit tired, so in a few weeks, you may be lucky and get a new room. That said, the room was very clean and the bed comfortable, so no complaints.
The check in staff were very good - friendly and helpful.
There is a restaurant next door - more of that in a separate review, but would say OK for evening meal at a reasonable price but avoid the breakfast, which was awful.
As with all hotels such as this, there are no frills, but this does benefit from its location, being near to a number of food outlets as well as the restaurant - OK Diner, KFC, Starbucks are all next door, so if you do not like room coffee, you can get something else after a short walk.More
