I stay at Littlewell Farm on a regular basis. On business trips away, it is really important to me to have a home from home to come back to each night.

Elizabeth and Alan are consumate hosts, and always remember the little things that make your stay so special. Breakfasts are delicious with fresh fruit salad as well as the usual cooked breakfasts, and a truely amazing selection of jams and preserves. The rooms are warm and cosy with lots of hot water and a wide selection of magazines to browse through. A lovely place to stay again and again.

Stayed for one night. 2 rooms, spotless and quiet. Enjoyed the hot water in the bathrooms. Breakfast was more than enough. Owners were very helpful. Will return again. I was touring the South with a couple from Israel. They enjoyed it thoroughly.

Despite arrangements made to stay and confirmed by email and phone prior to arrival. No one was there to greet us, I attempted contact by phone 16 times, and left a message. No answer at door or bell on gate. Finally contacted 2.5 hours later to be told she had gone to baby sit with no access to a phone. Sadly ruined our break, completely hopeless and incompetent customer service, avoid at all costs.

Situated just outside Wells, the location is very very convenient for discovering the Mendip Hills area, with all the main attractions (Cheddar Gorge, Bath, Glastonbury) only 30 minutes away by car. There's a wee bit of road noise during the day but on the upside it means it's easy to go anywhere. What really made our stay here lovely was the hosts. Not only welcoming but also helpful and full of information about the local area. And a good sense of humor :-) we really felt welcome.
Also: lovely lounge filled with comfy seats and books/games/tv for relaxing after a busy day.

I really enjoyed my stay at Littlewell Farm when I spent a few nights there in July. It is just outside the beautiful city of Wells, which is well worth a visit. There is a bus stop very close by, so you can leave your car safely parked on the premises. The proprietors were really friendly, everything was very clean, breakfast was great, and there was even a really nice lounge with a big TV for the guests. All in all I think this guesthouse offers great value for money, and I would certainly recommend it,
