This used to be a great little place with cheerful service but something has happened.
The chips, which was all I had as it's quite pricey, were fatty and wet at the same time. How can you do that? They were luke warm, a dull brown colour and when I unwrapped them outside they were moulded together in a solid mass.
As the 2 cafes opposite were closed and I was banking on these for lunch it was my only option so I made myself eat them. I felt like the wolf in The Wolf & the 7 Kids story who swallowed a bag of rocks for the next 12hrs.
One lady serving was pleasant and smiling but the other was annoyed at having her conversation interupted. They close dead on time or before it seems too.
