Open for takeaways in lockdown, great selection of breakfast items to choose from, sandwiches made fresh with thick bread.

I've been using this place for years even back before Graham took it over. The food is excellent as is the service. The staff always meet you with a smile and if your lucky a bit of banter to go with it.

Graham, Linda and staff are great, always get your order correct and best of all it’s hot and plenty of it. Need to change an item? It’s never too much trouble to change an item on the fixed menu also you can have your egg anyway you like it.
Don’t expect the Ritz, it’s a transport cafe and the food is good home cooking. I’ve been visiting for years and would still recommend to anyone who wants a basic meal for a fair price.

This is a great little cafe. The choice of breakfast items is endless, doorstep sarnies of all kinds and about 5 or 6 different full breakfasts for the light eater or the downright greedy! There are hot meals as well with mash and veg, curry, chilli, and sweet stuff as well such as chocolate or cakes. We had breakfast sarnies and it was lovely, soft doorstep bread stuffed with hot, fresh filling - YUM! The staff and owners are really friendly and it has a very pleasant atmosphere. Super value as well. We will definitely go again. Recommended.
