We had the pleasure of staying here for my partner's birthday. We arrived at around 4pm on a Sunday night where we were greeted by the owner. The room was huge, with a beautiful view of the river and the court yard. The owner even left a little something for us as it was a birthday celebration, this is what makes the stay. The breakfast in the morning was lovely too, personal toasters on the table, cereal, fruit and a full English to boot.

There are three pubs within close walking distance, the Tame Otter and the Red Lion. If you fancy a longer walk the Fox inn is another pub close by. Plenty of parking on site, beautiful surroundings, and welcoming owners/ staff. If we are up this way again, we will stay here for sure!

Room Tip: Superior rooms have more space (as expected)

Have visited this Hotel with friends a few times previous to this latest visit. It is a well run establishment where the family and staff are very friendly. The rooms are larger than usual hotel rooms, the fridge, large comfy bed, lovely view of the Tame river from the window all make the stay that much more enjoyable. The breakfasts are superb, cooked and served by two lovely ladies who are an asset to the Hotel. We received a confirmation email along with the best Sat Nav post code to use to find the Farm, the names of local pubs, a couple of which are within walking distance along with local taxi tel no, just in case you need a ride home! The Tame Otter pub is set by the canal, beautiful setting, Ale , Food and Staff. We will definitely use this Hotel again and have recommended it to friends in the past who loved the experience. Ideal location for the National Arboretum.

Room Tip: As I have used the hotel on previous occasions I have stayed in different rooms, all rooms are good.

Stayed here with a group of friends after doing the Ride To The Wall event. Hotel is in very picturesque grounds in a small village. We found the hotel to be clean with spacious rooms containing everything we needed for a nights stay. The car park is behind the building and not visible from the road. As all of us where on bikes this was one of the reasons we picked the Oak Tree.

The staff where all very friendly and helpful. They showed us to our rooms and checked everything was fine. A nice change from just being given a key and directions to a room. Whilst checking in we where asked about a plans for the night and given direction to a number of pubs and recommendation to call and book a table at the one we choose, less then a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

All in all we enjoyed our stay and will be booking in again for next years ride.

A beautiful little farm with lots of rooms and out buildings but no bar and no restaurant. After a long drive I wanted to get to the hotel and relax but was told I could not eat or drink here and I had to walk to a pub 10 minutes away. Its such a shame as the place is very nice. They could do a better job at cleaning the rooms, mine was not 100%.

Please be aware, your credit card details are stored in a book because they charged me for 2 nights and I stayed for 1, hence when I wanted a refund I found out my card details were written down. I told them to remove this from the records so make sure they don't keep yours.

We have visited this hotel several times and always found it to be so well run and family friendly. Their rooms are spacious and spotless and the breakfast is excellent with variety and freshness. The setting is lovely and nearby are two great pubs doing fab food next to a canal with narrow boats galore. We would highly recommend this hotel for its beautiful setting, friendly staff, lovely rooms and fab breakfast. Do try to visit soon and enjoy the great towns and villages nearby to this lovely family run hotel.
