went here for lunch with visiting family (had enough of cooking over Xmas) and was not disappointed. Choice was good for both adults and children and we were seated in a large side booth which accommodated the 10 of us perfectly. Food was delivered hot and tasty and service level was friendly and good. Will definitely use again if cooking is too much of an effort!

Went to Rackshaws today for a birthday meal. I had a rump steak and my wife had the ultimate fish and chips. Lovely food. We were seated on a table for four by a window. The atmosphere was lovely with soft music in the background. A great venue and not too expensive.

We like to go either mid afternoon or have an early dinner, it has always been peaceful during these times for us.
The Fish and chips were not greasy at all, and my sister said the steak was excellent and cooked just right, so all good on the food.
On the service side, the thing that made our visit brilliant was a waitress called Kirsty. Her humorous banter with us was quite infectious, and really brightened the whole visit. Whatever they pay this girl, it is not enough!

Popped in here for lunch on a Wednesday in November.
The staff were lovely, very friendly:-)
It was quite busy which meant the noise level was quite loud.
I had the amazing breaded mushrooms to start. Followed by quiche with chips and salad.
We also ordered another main and a soft drink.
All this for under £20 on the lunch menu.
Very good value.
Will be visiting again:-)

Extended family gathered here for a Saturday night dinner. As a chain quite often the food in these restaurants is very similar mass churned out and ok but nothing special but last night our dinners were fantastic. The chicken was lovely and tender and the steak was superb. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Compared to the last beefeater we ate in this was brilliant - the last one was particularly bad but it all goes to show how much depends on the actual chef preparing the standard menu of dishes.
