Description: At Zizzi we like to do things a little differently. We don’t do over-complicated recipes or scrimpy portion sizes. We’re all about the well-chosen ingredients, simply put together to make exceptional Italian food. Our Haywards Heath restaurant is located at the end of the High Street, close to Blue Bell Railway Station. And if you’re taking the quick trip from Gatwick or the seaside town of Brighton, stop in and have a bite to eat. Inside the restaurant you’ll find a mixture of drawing, painting and sculpture inspired by the local Bluebell Railway and different aspects of railway life including old posters, technical drawings and typography. Enjoy a glass of Chianti in these relaxed and picturesque surroundings where you can be sure of a warm welcome.Dine al fresco with an outdoor dining area for sunny weather.

Went once - understaffed so couldn’t seat us (a couple).

Tried a second time - staff were helpful, though food was sub-par (even for a middle of the road high street chain like Zizzi).

Spaghetti Carbonara was lukewarm & bland, side salad looked like it had sat around in the dressing for a while, and the tomatoes were old, flavourless and soft.

Wouldn’t recommend...!

We visited on a bitterly cold day so couldn’t be seated by the glass windows. Staff tried hard to keep the temperature up by moving fan heaters around. I am sure this was temporary.
Very big airy restaurant with high ceilings. Food typical chain Italian, we used voucher code to get a discount.
Staff friendly and service efficient and cheerful.

we come here once a week at least but today the service was so bad , have been sitting and waiting for half an hour to take an order, waiting for an hour my meals still haven't come yet. Come on Zizzi you should improve your customers service , too slow

Helpful waiting staff but after waiting for an hour for food gave up hope and left. Especially disappointing as it was a late lunch booking when restaurant was clearing. Spoilt birthday meal with family for our son. Also really cold as heating appeared to be broken replaced with inadequate electric heaters.
