Description: The Badgers pub is situated just outside the historic market town of Petworth. It is set in the heart of the beautiful West Sussex countryside and nestled close under the South Downs. Badgers is a privately owned free house with accommodation. Badgers is run by Jules Arlette, the proprietor, along with her hard working and friendly staff. As well as a fine restaurant, there are three double rooms for those wishing to stay.

Staying in the Old Railway Station, Petworth
The Badgers is the obvious choose as it is literally 200metres walk away
Good selection of draught ales inc my favourite Doombar
I had the Venison dish & my wife the Jacobs ladder
Both cooked to our liking
Good evening although not used to West Sussex prices etc !!
Would certainly recommend

Had an evening meal here. Venison steak with Dauphinois potatoes. Fantastic! The staff were very helpful. Although a little expensive it's we'll worth it.

Called in after booking a table via phone while staying in the South Downs National Park

Good menu choice and good selection of drinks, service very good.

'Interesting' artwork in the alcove where we sat (you'll need to see it for yourself!!)

We had Camembert and artisan bread as a starter and Sirloin steak, Linguine with double cooked chips which were very nice.

Magners on draft and also Doombar which I'd never had before.

We stayed at the Old Railway Station and had dinner here every night. It's a two minute walk away and a perfect end to the day without having to get in the car and drive somewhere.
