We love visiting the Blue Mountains for the walks and stunning scenery. This time we decided to stay at Lithgow instead of Blackheath. We loved Lithgow and the surrounding area, particularly the gun museum, caves and the Glow Worms. We did the 9km walking circuit to the glow worm tunnel, which was amazing.
The caravan site had loads of character and the people were very friendly who ran the park. Each evening at about 7pm, Greg would entertain the kids on his hobby farm which was next to the caravan park. He would let the kids feed the goats, horses and ducks. This was very special, and our kids fell in love with ‘Mate’ the old goat.
A must stay if you want to explore the surrounding area.

It was our first time staying here as we were heading to Sydney after picking up our van in Melbourne. We received a very friendly greeting from Nicholas upon arrival. The amenities were very clean and the shower was lovely and hot. It was great to see a recycle bin at this park something that we haven't seen at previous parks. We highly recommend staying here and we would definitely stay here again.

Park is next to railway line with trains going past all night. Amenities block old needs up dating badly probably very fashionable for the 1950's . Concrete slabs for vans all broken , Could not wait to leave next morning

A real hidden gem, i only looked at Blue Mountains area & there are only a few parks and no pets allowed of course, pets are allowed at Managers discretion, the staff are very friendly & polite, amenities are great , wheelchair access and convenient camp kitchen. Some taps in ladies showers & vanities stiff to turn but water is hot. Clean and secure. I think they have 24hr surveillance and park was very quiet even though near highway & train track. Grounds very we'll maintained. About 2klm from town shorter walk to Maccas. Some four wheel drive Cowboys camping which was great as they were very excited to be off but not early. Will definitely be returning & telling everyone. We had a campervan.

We spent 6 nights on a powered site which was large and accessible. The facilities were good with two very clean well kept amenities blocks. Family room area for the kids etc. Also dump point at the park which is great for those with self contained vans. Only about two km from main shopping complex and about one km to tourist info centre.
