We really enjoyed our short stay here. The cabin was a great size for our needs, warm and quite clean and with a decent size kitchenette. The bed was fine, and although we didn't find the couch particularly comfortable we did spend most of our time outdoors exploring cradle mountain so it wasn't really a big deal. The bathroom was fine - nothing exciting, but very clean and well maintained. It was also very quiet and peaceful, and located very close to the entrance to the park and the visitor's centre.

We arrived early so reception kindly let us check in early. We stayed in a two bedroom cabin. It was everything we needed. Good heating. Full kitchen. We had lunch at the restaurant and we had share plates, the food was amazing. Fresh and tasty. The only WIFI was in the reception and restaurant area. I would stay there again.

This was a treasure with its bush setting. It offers 50 or so well-equipped cabins set in the trees around a central check-in and dining point. Our cabin was a delight providing a comfortable bedroom, seating area and kitchen facilities. The decor was appropriate for the setting.
Service in the dining room and with check-in was excellent, friendly and attentive. The Hellyers Restaurant is well decorated in modern style and offers an excellent menu and wine list. We particularly enjoyed our introduction to Tasmanian gin, it was enthusiastically recommended by our waitress. She was charming and very knowledgeable about the well framed and modern menu highlighting local produce. The dishes were well presented and full of flavour, they were of international standard.
The village is on the main road into the National Park and adjacent to Park headquarters.
We would have no hesitation in recommending this property and staying there on another occasion.

My partner and I stayed here in the spa cottage for 3 nights over Easter. It is in the perfect location on the doorstep of the park and visitors centre. It is very much self contained style of accommodation even when it comes to servicing as this is only upon request. Everything in our room was in good condition and working order, I definitely recommend paying for the more premium cabin types of you can, after a full day walking it is nice to come back to a very cozy place to warm up and relax. We basically kept to our selves and aside from using the laundry we didn't unilise any of the other property facilities, our cabin was right at the end so with the cold rainy weather, reception was more of a drive than a walk. If you are after lots of facilities and more of a resort feel then prehaps choose one of the other properties. However if you are looking for modern, clean, comfortable, private no fuss accommodation, this makes a perfect hub to explore Cradle Mountain.

We stayed here as a family of six adults. It was a really nice environment. Cabins were really comfortable. It’s really walking distance to the Visitors centre but we drove not realising. The restaurant does Share Plates which we didn’t love and felt was over priced but staff were lovely. We would stay here again, it’s really close to Cradle Mountain.
