I've been coming to Tasmania for years now and have looked at many of the woodwork galleries around the state. This gallery offers a huge variety of timber products that aren't seen in other galleries. Apparently the majority of the pieces in the shop are made on site by the owners (father & daughter team) and if you're lucky enough you can watch them at work creating these beautiful things. They know their timber and their history and are great to have a chat to. The gallery can be a little hard to spot if you're not looking, it's set back off the main road in the old shed on the water, behind the chandlery near the Wooden Boat Centre. Definitely recommend stopping by to have a look, you won't be disappointed, there's something there for everyone.
