My wife & I stayed for a few days recently. What u would expect for a get-away cabin in the woods, but even more. Very quiet except 4 our own noise generation. Plenty of wood provided 4 wood burning stove - pic your own temp. Clean, warm, hot tub. Great for couples. Bring - grill top 2 use outdoor fire ring 4 cooking, electric griddle if u have 1 for breakfast. Didn't use gas grill - needs cleaning.
Bedroom ceiling/fan could be dusted.
owner was friendly, informative,& had cabin warmed up upon our arrival

We stayed at Twin Oaks Sept 30, 2013 to Oct 04, 2013. We loved all the amenities the cabin offered. It was secluded yet close to Logan and Laurelville. The hot tub was spotless. The cabin was well equipped and very clean. We will be staying at the Trail on our next visit. We will return to Twin Oaks next year.

The owner was very accommodating: as we had an emergency call to his home. We had a very relaxing few days. Nice getaway.

We recently stayed in "The Trail" for a getaway weekend--we wanted clean, quiet, and secluded, and Cassady's provided all three. We could have easily gone the weekend without seeing another person, but the cabins were close enough to both town and the various tourist attractions to be convenient. The hot tub on the deck overlooking the forest was perfect, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The only real complaints were that the shower was a bit short, even for me at 5'7", and there was a bit too much scented stuff on hand for anyone with allergies to tolerate for long (a fairly easy fix). We will definitely recommend this place to our friends.

From start to finish, our weekend getaway with two families was memorable. The cabin is very spacious (we had 9) but could easily fit more than stated. Bob was accommodating to us forgetting a few kitchen items as well as helpful to local attractions. He was also attentive the needs of our kids. It was very hot so we spent a lot of time enjoying the cabins amenities. The cabin was clean, fully stocked with necessities and convenient to grocery and attractions. Not to mention it was secluded and perfect for a rustic weekend. We cooked the entire weekend at the cabin with all working appliances and grill. Kids enjoyed fishing all weekend and use of the zip line. Looking forward to our next trip back.

The cabins were very clean and private. Outside deck had a hot tub and a t.v. with DirecTv. There was plently of pots, pans, glassware and dishes provided. Only downside was: the stove top couldn't boil water and the TV on the deck was old. The volume buttons didn't work so it was uber loud.. It was closely located to the areas attractions (Ash Cave, Old Man's Cave). Owner greeted us upon arrival and was very friendly. We enjoyed our anniversary trip and will def. be back with friends!
