“Secluded Private Cabin”
Reviewed 1 April 2018 for a stay in April 2018

This adorable and very clean cabin is only minutes from Hocking Hills activities. The cabin was immaculate; any supple we wanted was available, plenty of cooking, serving and eating dishes. Lots of extras such as spices, coffee, teas, sugar and creamer. Appreciated the plastic storage dishes for leftovers while there. The cabin is on a secluded road where we walked many times. Very little traffic so very quiet. We enjoyed the gas stove for ambiance and to keep off the chill, through the cabin was plenty warm. We missed wifi - we couldn't look up things to do or hours for places we wanted to go. Overall, *****

Management Response

Hi, Kathy, I just want you and potential guests to know that a lack of internet service is not our preference. Frontier Communications has been promising it for 3 years and we have been persistent in reminding them of that promise. We know that some other cabins in the Hocking Hills have received internet service and it's very frustrating for us. We will continue to pursue getting service. Beth

“Lovely Cabin and Property for Family with Pets”

My wife and I enjoyed our first anniversary at Honey Ridge Cabins. We wanted to bring our cat and dog, and the owners have very pet friendly rules. The cabin is on 22 acres, which my dog and I explored when we were not on the Hocking Hills trails or fishing the local creeks and rivers. The two main things my wife and I want from any cabin we rent is cleanliness and quietness, and Honey Ridge has both. Beth M was very helpful in giving recommendations for restaurants and hiking trails. We look forward to returning in the future. FYI, call Beth M before booking on TripAdvisor, it can save you some cash.

“Amazing Pet-Friendly Cabin!”

We found honey Ridge Cabin online after looking for years for a place that would allow 3 pets of any size to stay in! We have 3 dogs and have always wanted to take our fur kids on family vacation but never found anywhere that would accommodate an 80 pound black and his 2 smaller sisters...until now! The cabin is tucked away on a beautiful wooded property that gives you loads of area to walk your dogs around and get exercise. We stayed for 2 nights since this was our first time taking all 3 dogs, but I wish we could have stayed longer! It was still pretty cold out the 2 days we stayed (even snowing the last night) so we did not get to do many outdoor activities but we will definitely be coming back! The owners make it so easy to navigate Hocking Hills...they leave maps and detailed directions/phone numbers for any activity you could possibly want to do while in Hocking Hills! Also the kitchen is fully stocked with any pots/pans you could need...they even provide you with foil and basic seasonings/oil/tea bags etc. There is a full sized fridge in the cabin and a gas grill on the patio so you really never need to leave the cabin if you just want to get away and have peace and quiet! My FAVORITE part of this cabin was the Jacuzzi tub! It is HUGE! The jets were so relaxing and I could have stayed in it all weekend!
We were so pleasantly surprised at how accommodating Honey Ridge was and would recommend it to anyone looking for a secluded getaway with their family! Spike Luna and Lisa (my dogs) had so much fun on their first family vacation and we all cannot wait to come back...probably when it is a bit warmer so we can enjoy more of the outdoor activities! Thanks again to Beth and Chuck for being so hospitable!

“HIGHLY RECOMMEND”
Reviewed 20 March 2018 for a stay in March 2018

The cabinet was great. Location was convenient to Ash Cave, Old Mans Cave, and a few other ones. We had a limited stay but it was excellent. The cabinet was clean and well stocked to make our stay comfortable. It helped make the weekend perfect. Roomy and feels like home. I have already referred out to a couple friends

“Perfect spot for a get-a-way”
Reviewed 1 February 2018 for a stay in January 2018

This trip with for the Old Mans Cave Winter Hike with my 3 grandchildren and 2 dogs. I appreciated all the little extras the owners do to make a trip relaxing and stress free. The information they sent prior to our trip helped me to pack just what we needed. The cabin is well stocked and the information about the area was very helpful. After our hike we were all tired and ready to relax. The jet bathtub was AMAZING and it was great to eat a hot dinner and watch a DVD for the evening. On Sunday, we took a walk (left) from Honey Ridge and found a wonderful little church & cemetery with many gravestones from the late 1800's. The church is no longer offering services, however the doors were open. We made sure to travel there early Sunday morning and said our prayer of thanks for such a perfect weekend. I will stay here on future trips. I highly recommend you book quick as this area is very popular.
