1 review it was a rainy 4 days we stayed at " The Eight Acres" home, but we enjoyed ourselves. This home sits directly on the water front and offers a lot of fishing, swimming and a large front yard. We will certainly come back to this nice clean home.

The home is very quaint and cozy. Nestled right on Grand Lake Saint Marys. We really enjoyed the camp fire. It is highly suggested you bring drinking water as the house has well water.

Perfect location for peace and quiet. Clean, cozy, comfortable home, on a picturesque 8-acre lot directly on the lake, although not a large beach area. The owner, Sandi, and the rental agent, Retta, were very friendly and easy to work with. Everything worked just fine in the house, except for the fireplace. Bed in master was quite comfortable. Small kitchen, but adequate for two people.
Be sure to bring your own bottled water for drinking and cooking, as the water in the house is well water and has a strong, unpleasant odor. I've been told they will soon be getting city water, so that should alleviate the problem.
The town of St Mary's is a mile or two away, and it has a couple of grocery stores and restaurants, although we didn't eat out while there.
