Great place ,room amazing. Food was very so so . Microwave food. It needed a little more attention for price. The waitresses where good but a little bit more finesse would have been nice and made the stay 10 out of 10 things on the menu should not have to be microwaved

Room Tip: Food disappointing for the price of the bedroom which was great

Thank you for leaving a review. I am glad that you enjoyed your stay with us at the hotel, but obviously disappointed with your comments about the restaurant. I can assure you that the food is not microwaved! We have one small domestic microwave in the whole kitchen and this tends to be used for things like softening butter, not cooking food. I would be very interested to know why you thought this; i can be contacted at the hotel. Wishing you a very happy Christmas,
Jon Fletcher

We recently had our staff christmas party at The Grange. It was such a wonderful evening, we had a room set up just for our party, it was beautifully decorated and the tables looked lovely. The food was amazing and the staff were very attentive and ensured throughout the night that we were happy. We then had an excellent disco after the meal which all the staff enjoyed. We would not hesitate to recommend The Grange and look forward to booking our Christmas Party for next year!! Jon and his staff did a fantastic job! Thank you very much The Grange

A very comfortable hotel with nice rooms. The staff and management are very helpful,
but the food is not good. We stayed three nights had dinner on the first night and did not have another meal. Breakfast was just okay.
On location l have put average, it depends what you require.
This hotel is in a very small village.

Room Tip: Some rooms overlook the gardens which is very well kept with pond.

We chose the restaurant at the Grange for celebrating our anniversary. We were not disappointed by the setting, or the flood. Although the "Autumn Menu" has only 4 choices for each of starter, main and dessert, each dish that we sampled was of the highest quality. The dishes were full of flavour, which made you want to savour every mouthful - which we did.

Last minute booking for business trip. Great hotel, professional and helpful, friendly staff.

Rooms are spotless, comfortable and well proportioned. great selection to choose from in Restaurant (dinner & breakfast) sourced from local area.

Such attention to detail, nothing seems to much effort. Was offered takeaway coffee and snack bars at check out. De-icer and scrapers available to use.

Great experience, Will definitely book again and not just for business.

Room Tip: Poor mobile and wifi signal, not a bad thing though - unkless you need to work online perhaops :-)
