I have yet to go here and be disappointed, though I do always get the bacon cheeseburgers with fried onions. The bacon is always crisp and the fries are wonderful! I hear their chicken strips are really good as well, but I've never been able to pass up such a good burger whenever I go.

Typical breakfast fare but great atmosphere due to Ellen the waitress and the owner who guess what? is an Elvis impersonator. About 300 album covers from the 60's and 70's on the wall which I absolutely loved. Hard for cook to keep up with a full restaurant because of 4 foot grill limitation but if you like going off the beaten path this may be the place for you. prices are more than reasonable.

My wife and I had their highly touted cheeseburger and fries plate with a chocolate shake. There were two other tables occupied and no one at the counter. The waitress took our order and we waited (and waited) which gave us a good opportunity to look at our surroundings. Nice Elvis and 50's memorabilia but we also noticed cobwebs in corners, other general filth, and in general we wondered if the Health Department ever made visits there. The physical condition of the inner and outer building is in run-down and worn condition.
When the food finally arrived it was hot, so we have to give them credit for that but it was "grease city" and if a person likes food that slides down with ease this is your place. [Maybe it's named Fat Elvus because one can get their month's requirement of fat in one meal!] The water glasses they gave us were too scroungy to be trusted so we used our milkshake for a liquid. The two waitresses were standing idly around talking to the cook and none of the tables received normal restaurant service. Probably the best experience here was walking out the front door to breathe fresh air and continue down Route 66.
It's difficult to understand the more positive ratings for this Diner other than it must be the employees, owner, or relatives of the same writing the critiques. We love to give good ratings where they're deserved but the staff will need to take a seminar or two in food service, preparation, and keeping the facility clean. Their business might be marginally sustainable because of its location on Route 66, a few loyal locals, and unwary travelers who stop in because of the eye-catching name. In short, we wouldn't take friends here unless we wanted to lose them!

Fresh hamburger, fresh cut fries, milkshake made from real ice cream. This place was awesome, Elvis even cooks there. It's right on Rt. 66. Highly recommend.

OMG the food is hot when it comes to your table the waitress took our orders and when the food was done the cook brought it to our table the hamburger meat is real and not frozen and the fries are homemade and not frozen. The only thing to dislike about this place is really nothing except maybe expand the diner and bring one to Tulsa Ok. They do charge for the lettuce, cheese, tomatoes and onions but its all at a reasonable price and worth it they have real plates and they are from a home the place is awesome
