My biggest regret was only booking to stay for 2 nights! Ok, maybe that plus staying in the off season, which meant the pool was closed and they don't have an indoor pool option!! The "room" really was over the top w/ the high end finishes - sub zero fridge, coffee bean grinder for a truly fresh cup of joe in the morning... wine fridge, your own fire pit on your patio... the list goes on and on... so my recommendation would be to grab your favorite people and book to stay here for at least a week so you can really sink in and enjoy the peacefulness of the resort and the luxury of your 'room' (I put room in quotes b/c it's more than just a room... it's like staying in a very high-end town home.) On top of the superb amenities, the folks who work there are so incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help us out. We had some issues w/ a tire on our road trip out there which caused us to arrive a day later and the front desk was able to move our reservations back a day without any trouble (thanks to it being low season I'm sure... but they were very nice about it and expressed concern over our well being first and foremost!) I had also inquired about bike rentals during the day on our first full day there... and at check out ran into the same person I had spoken to about the bikes... he remembered me and asked if we ever came back around to ride them... we didn't - but it was nice to see that you definitely aren't just a number here, they really remember you and what your needs were!
The morning we left we were able to try the food at the restaurant in the main building - not only was the food delicious, but again, we had stellar service from a gal who didn't bat an eye when my 4 y.o dropped his bacon on the floor and was near tears about it and wanted a new one :).
So while the resort is beautiful, the town house was comfortable and luxurious, the people there really put our stay over the top in terms of service and attentiveness. It's a long drive out there for us, but we would happily return for a visit and I would highly recommend this place to anyone!!
