While my husband played both golf courses, I had two spectacular days of hikes, thanks and a big shout-out to Mike at the desk. He gave me accurate, detailed instructions with maps for one hike in the high desert nearby (nothing is really nearby the Pronghorn), and the other at a beautiful volcanic lake, with baby frogs, petroglyphs on the lava flow, and spectacular scenery.
Our room was spacious & comfortable, & our patio faced the sunrise. Only one side of the bed had an accessible outlet for device charging, but I travel with an extension cord for that reason. I loved the kitchenette, but please print out instructions to the baffling Cuisinart coffee maker. The bathrobes were the best I've ever worn.

Room Tip: ask for sunrise or sunset views.

The Pronghorn is one of the nicest resort destinations that I have visited. They have a very nice selection of condominiums to choose from for your stay as well as a hotel under construction that will be finished soon. We made the visit to the club as part of a wedding party. It was absolutely beautiful. The place from top to bottom is 5 star. The golf course is one of the best on the West Coast.

My wife and I are here for a week. The resort is really beautiful. It has 2 golf courses, 4 restaurants, and lots of places to walk around. We have really enjoyed the 2 outdoor pools and hot tubs, where the restaurant will serve the pool area with great food. The place is so pretty, it is a magnet for weddings. It's just NE of Bend proper, where you can find all the restaurants or river play areas for entertainment. All of the people here are really friendly and helpful.

A secluded massive resort with a mix of private homes and hotel rooms. Located on a golf course. The room was spacious and clean with high ceilings, fireplace, mini fridge, and microwave. Free wifi. 30 minutes drive from downtown Bend. Multiple pools and jacuzzis. Used the pool and jacuzzi at night but they ran out of towels. (Another 12 guests after us also did not have any towels for the pool). Rented bicycles for free. Tips: eat in downtown Bend before driving over. Bring your own alcohol because pool service ends at 5PM.

My partner and I came here for a wedding between friends of ours. Our room wasn't ready by 4, the check-in time; the staff gave us a voucher for complimentary drinks, which was a nice gesture but moot, given that we were going to a wedding. When we initially checked in, no one explained the layout of the resort or offered us a map: we had to overhear all the useful information we needed.

While waiting, we had some sandwiches at the Trailhead Grill -- expensive sandwiches, but very good. You get a lot of bacon and avocado on your ABLT, and I had big chunks of grilled tuna and avocado on my sandwich. Service was slow and slightly awkward -- both staff members seemed very new to their jobs.

Eventually, we retired to our suite: all the supplies were of good quality (tea, coffee, soap). The bed had a good mattress topper, and the linens were soft. The bathrobes were enormous and plush.

I visited the gym on our last morning: there's a decent set of dumbbells, foam rollers, TRX straps, etc. No squat rack or barbells. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try any of the fitness classes, but they seemed legit.

Note: this resort is in the middle of nowhere. Consider the environmental effects of a golf course in the middle of a desert.

Thank you for taking time to share your feedback about your recent visit to Pronghorn. We value your feedback greatly, as it helps us improve our operations. We are sorry to hear about the late check-in and the lack of communication about the property's information. We strive for excellence in customer service, and we will address that breakdown in communication.

We are happy you were able to enjoy our fitness center! Hopefully you will plan another visit and be able to experience our fitness classes. Although the location is remote amongst a protected juniper forest, from the end of the driveway, the property is only minutes from Bend. We hope you will plan another visit to Pronghorn in the future!

Warm regards,

Spencer Schaub, General Manager
