If you're not into buffets but don't want to break the bank on a fancy dinner then Cow Creek is the place for you while visiting The Casino or even traveling through. A great value for you money and friendly waitstaff, this is a better choice while traveling than the places out on the highway. Enjoy!

We were passing through one weekend on our way from Los Angeles to northern Washington, and I'd been craving prime rib. When we saw the Casino, we thought "maybe there!"

For prime rib, the doorman directed us to the Cow Creek. And indeed, there we had one of the best pieces of prime rib we've had in a long time. Paired with a wild rice pilaf, the meat was well-trimmed, very thick, perfectly medium rare, and glazed with a nicely thickened and seasoned jus. This followed a way above average salad (my expectations of casino food being what they are), and a bottle of good local wine. All in all, it exceeded expectations on every level.

Now if only I could have back the excruciating half hour I had to spend watching the cheesy Vegas Vixens Revue in the lounge outside the Cow Creek while we waited for our table. :) We could find no other place to get a glass of wine. And the only other places to sit were in front of slot machines. No thank you!

Foods tastes like it was reheated. But the staff is friendly and everyone else in the restaurant seems to be enjoying the food but everyone else int he restaurant was well over 70 years old. Maybe it's the same food they serve at the home.

Not that long ago the food and service was quick and friendly, now...food is so so and service is almost gone at the coffee shop, our breakfast was covered in grease the whole dang plate! We use to go here often for breakfast, not anymore. from what we can tell they have let go of too many skilled cooks /servers and help in general this is really hurting the whole dining experience at all of their restaurants, the Saturday bunch is gone! And Sunday bunch while good is outragely over priced. The food was very good, but limited, the choices of food didn't go together well at all, just a odd mix. The waite staff kinda roam around folding napkins and chatting among themselves in little group, the whole casino is in some kind of turmoil. Dinner at the K Bar was perfectly prepared and served hot and fresh, a little over priced. Perhaps forgo the new lounge if service is going to suffer at the expense of the clientele. This was one of Oregon's finest casinos until recently. Sadly IMO

This was the second time eating at this place. We were at our table for quite some time before our server Brenda showed up. Prior to that, Theresa actually got our drinks for us. Food took forever to be delivered and was really not that good. Brenda never checked to see if we needed anything further or to refill our drinks. My husband had to hunt someone down and found Theresa who refilled our drinks. When we wanted our check, again my husband had to hunt Brenda down to pay the bill! We nearly always leave a 20% tip even if service isn't great, but Brenda didn't get a tip. My husband tried to find Theresa to personally give her a tip but couldn't find her and was ready to get out of there.
The first time I ate there things were only slightly better. Will never go to that restaurant again
