Even on a rainy day this was a gorgeous drive. Worth every second of beautiful natural rugged scenery.

We drove the Otter Crest Loop while exploring this beautiful Coast. This loop offers unique pull outs for opportunities to take in all the sites. It was not busy while we were here, so parking at the viewpoints was not an issue. It is a nice leisurely drive!

A wonderfully scenic excursion off of the beaten Highway 101 path! You must go. Stop at the Devil's Punchbowl at high tide if you can!

The Otter Crest Loop is the highest point on this part of the coastline. The views are simply amazing. There is a lovely old road you take and it is pretty quiet most of the time. It will narrow to one lane, but don't worry, there are turn outs for those of use that want to drive slowly, and to stop and take photos or have a walk.

This is free as is parking. It is just beautiful and you will love this relaxing and amazing drive. I think it is about 500 feet above the coast at the highest point, so the view will be great. It is not good when it is foggy, so avoid those days.

Have a peaceful time.

The loop at Otter Crest takes you to the highest point on that part of the coast. It is over 500 ft above the ocean. Because it sticks out in the ocean you have a spectacular view looking down the coast to Otter Crest and Beverly Beach. There is a small gift shop there that has binoculars free to use to scan the coast. It is a great stop and it is free!
