This is an older property, though the rooms have mostly been upgraded and renovated. That said, the walls are very thin and it felt like I was sharing a room with others and could hear throat clearings and sneezes. Nonetheless, my room itself was very nice, with hardwood (laminate) flooring and a comfortable bed. A private balcony with an outstanding view made up for the thin walls and creaky floors. I saw several whales from both the comfort of the deck as well as from inside the room.

The room also had a coffee maker, microwave, and fridge. The hotel restaurant was good albeit expensive (10% discount offered to hotel guests). No breakfast is provided with the room rate which was surprising. I’d stay here again just for the view alone but recommend at least the upper floor (which I had) so as to not have any noise come from above.

I had a couple of issues with the bathroom in particular but as they are still working on renovating/updating bathrooms as well as the manager having taken care of me from a customer service standpoint once I mentioned it, I’ll just say there are a few kinks they are working out but the view really makes up for so much and I always appreciate strong customer service. Thank you!

My wife and I stayed there in May of this year. The room was clean and well maintained, the bed was comfortable and the view was great. The staff were very nice and friendly and we have a fine time. The restaurant/bar on site was a bit of a revelation. You can get food to go and the food was very good and less expensive than in town! For example I had the full Prime Rib Dinner and my wife had a personal pizza with two beers well under $40.00. Very nice beach though the rock walkway at the very bottom of the hill is tough on those without shoes. Very affordable and nice place-look forward to returning soon-great whale watching as well.

Room Tip: Wear shoes when walking to the beach down the stairway from the hotel-the rocks at the bottom of the trail are treacherous

We snuck away for nice night and this was perfect! The ocean views were perfect and there is seating around the property to watch and listen to the ocean. The room was clean and quiet and the bed was amazingly comfortable. The hotel is also dog friendly. There are stairs to the left of the main building that lead to the beach. We ate dinner and had drinks on site and it was great too.

Good deal, great location just off of Depoe Bay,but the property, like many on the coast, needs a major facelift and updating. The whale watching was spectacular! The restaurant has a great view, nice waitstaff but mediocre food.

Thank you for staying with us. Watching the whales has been amazing lately, we are very lucky to have such a good location. We do have more improvements planned to compliment the new game room, fire pit viewing area and playground. Those are just a start! We hope you will be back to stay with us again to enjoy even more updates!

This was one of those get aways for just my wife and me. Stay on the 3rd floor. Sunset was fantastic, whales were off the beach, blowing and breaching. Restaurant was ok, bar was good. But the views were great. Walk on the beach was easy.

We had a great time.

Room Tip: Great Views, sunset fantastic, surf noise was great
