Our adult GFU son ordered his usual Pork Dinner. I ordered the Rib Dinner (the mac & cheese was good, onion rings luke warm, and not enough meat on the ribs (lots of fat). I would have liked to had a green salad. Thank you. We would come again.

Thank Julie J

We visited in mid July, while looking for a cheap eats place that could serve fast. We had a bit of a problem accessing the restaurant from the main road. Once we entered we found the place half full for a late in the day lunch...seemed promising. We ordered 1 pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and 1 brisket sandwich with onion rings and 2 sodas. Our food arrived quickly and we were ready for a taste of home (we are bbq lovers from NC/SC). Unfortunately, while the meal was reasonable for 2 ($23 including tip) it was not in the realm of real BBQ...dry pulled pork without much flavor and even dryer brisket with too much "crust " . The sauces were lacking in spirit to make up for the dry meats. We say this from a person that has passed BBQ courses in NC and has reached the "judge" level. It may be that the late time was the reason for the food being dry for Bert's BBQ on that day...but, then again we are rather picky about BBQ!.

My boyfriend and I are HUGE disc golf players (not pro, too chicken) but we're always hungry and always trying anything new! We stubbled on this little restaurant in-between games and.. wow! Complete satisfaction! Warm welcome and very happy employees. The wait for food wasn't long. We both ordered the Brisket sandwhich, I got tots and my man got the onion rings. I love BBQ and this is the best for well balanced flavor on the meats. Perfectly tender pieces. Their choice is BBQ sauces are true to the sweet or spicy levels labeled on each bottle. The restaurant was very clean and tidy. You can even view the awards for the company! Impressive! Definitely coming back to this one.

Pulled pork wasn't bad. They were out of ribs! Probably won't go back. Very limited parking. Service was good though! BbQ beans...i make better. These tasted burnt!

Went there for Father's day. Long line and the service was very slow for bbq...everything is already cooked. Good selection of beers on tap. Potato salad had lots of dill, excellent! Ribs were also very good, not sauced, but several sauces were on the table to choose from, the best way to serve them. Seating inside and outside. The brisket sandwich was already sauced but you could probably ask them to leave it off. Overall very good. We'll be back again.
