We chose this hotels for the pool but unfortunately during our 2 nights stay it was closed. There is not much to do in Newport during November so the kids were really looking forward to spend time in the pool :(

Room Tip: top floor great view

We were a little nervous when we heard the hotel had been sold to a big chain. We couldn't have been more wrong. The staff was wonderful. Sure we had to give all our info again (we've been going there for more than ten years), but the front desk person, Tonisha, was quick, friendly and checked us right in. The Elizabeth has kept most of what made them special... clean, well-appointed rooms with the best views in Lincoln City, fireplaces, great service, hot breakfast, salmon chowder and night cookies. Yeah, we had to park in the lower garage because they were painting the upper garage. No big deal. My wife and I are under a lot of pressure dealing with some family matters, so two relaxed, trouble-free nights at the coast were greatly appreciated! We will definitely be back.

Room Tip: If you're on the 3rd floor you don't have to take an elevator to breakfast.

Got a good mid-week deal and now know why. Beds gave us both sore backs. Upper parking was blocked for construction so thankfully had a car that could make the steep lower level parking. Cable kept going out. Only one chair for the balcony. AND not any mention that construction was going on when booking the room. Which started after 8am and went all day. Goodbye relaxation. Best of all when checking out the receptionist Jayne didn't even ask how our stay was. I guess two people in line is too much to take anytime with customer service. Will happily pay more to stay elsewhere. Will never recommend this to anyone we know.

The evening receptionist was exceptional! The stay had a few cliches; room initially booked not cleaned (got a diffrent room), no pool x24hr, no hot water for 1st AM shower due to breaker issue, etc The fireplace kept us toasty warm. The breakfasts were decent & the location is exceptional! We walked everywhere.

We traveled to Newport to celebrate my parents 65th Anniversary. We love staying at the Elizabeth Street Inn so we treated them to a nights stay and a dinner out. The hotel is comfortable and the staff is always friendly. It was our third stay at the hotel and we will stay there again.
