great aquarium for being on the small side. only takes about 2 hours or less to walk through it. they do have a walk-through shark tunnel. everyone will love that. lincoln county residents get in for $5.00 every wendsday for now.

Even though Keiko is no longer there, it's always fun to see the exhibits....we were there in time to see the otters get fed and that was really great! Always worth the trip...

We timed our trip from the Portland, OR area to arrive just after they opened on a Saturday in January, before any groups arrived. It was wonderful; everyone loved it from my 80 year old mother to my niece's 17 year old daughter.

Almost had the place to ourselves and was able to spend quite a bit of time discussing the animals with the local volunteers, who were knowledgeable and interesting. Best time ever at the Newport Aquarium! Stayed over Saturday night at the Elizabeth Street Inn and visited the Rogue Brewery the next day for lunch...great trip!

The Oregon Coast Aquarium is fairly small, but is an enjoyable place to spend an afternoon. It features fish, marine mammals, invertebrates and sea birds found along the Oregon Coast. I especially enjoyed the walk-in aviary where you could walk within inches of puffins, murres, and auklets. You can also get very close up views of sea otters, sea lions and seals. Most of the exhibits are outdoors, so if it is raining when you visit be sure to bring your umbrella.

On second visit this was open. Not much to see. Small and took less than an hour to see it all. Probably good for kids. I am spoiled the Mystic Aquarium in Connecticut is the best I have seen on Continental US.
