This is a new Hampton Inn and it is beautiful. We were in town for the Thanksgiving holiday and occupied 3 rooms. With our Diamond Hilton Honors status, the staff was kind enough to upgrade all to studio suites. The rooms were large, the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Especially Millie, who offered the grandkids coloring implements while at breakfast. The breakfast was great.
The best parts, however, were the fitness center and pool. The fitness center had an ample number of treadmills and ellipticals. The free weights were good and the room was spacious. The pool was divided into 2 sections. One was only a foot deep and contained a water slide, sprayer and a water dumper. With 3 grandkids under 5 years old, it was a big hit. The pool is not designed for swimmers, especially if you're looking to swim laps.
We were in town for 4 days and opted for Lyft instead of renting a car, in part because the on site parking was $37/day. I was told that the parking was under separate ownership and non negotiable. We stayed downtown for all activities and spent about $150 on Lyft all together, including round trip to the airport.More
