We stopped in on a Thursday after just arriving in town. I had a tap wine flight which included an amazing Spanish white, a Pinot Noir and a red blend. Hubby had the Pinot Noir. All the wines were great pours and were sooo good. Especially the Spanish white which we are told they were lucky to get that one as it is not distributed much throughout the US. We didn't eat, but the menu looked great, as well as the items that were brought to other tables. They also have Growler's where you can get your wine filled from the taps. Love that idea that you can do that in addition to beer! Great cozy place for a wine tasting!

YOu don't have to go to wine country to taste oregon wines, you can do it in SE portland. SEWC offers a variety of choices from supple whites to big reds. They produce some wines in house and source others locally and from around the world..... They offer decent food also which is an upgrade from their small plates last year.

Being a wine enthusiast, once i found out that the wine collective was next door to my stay, i had to visit their wine bar. Here you can taste wines from members of the collective (as well as lots of other wines). I stayed within the collective and had some really good whites and reds on par with anything i've tried from Oregon. You can get food as well - or go for the countless options on Division St.

We first visited the wine collective about two years ago and really enjoyed it. We are from New York State and vacation in Oregon frequently! This place offers beginning wine makers an outlet to make wine collectively. After completion, the wines are available to taste, by the glass. There is food available, also. It is a cozy atmosphere, with a friendly knowledgeable staff!

One of my favorite meals, a good meat and charcutierre board. It was a delicious pairing with the wines we had that night. Always fun to share.
