We've been going to Du's for years for their yummy grilled teriyaki chicken. But it's not just the good food that keeps us going, it's the people at the front. Always smiling and remember their customers and their orders, asking after each person with every visit. That is what keeps me coming back to Du's.

Not a lot of selection, but it is well prepared and quick. Friendly service. Good selection of fountain and bottled sugared beverages.
The sauce and dressing are very good and you can buy each in bottles and get refills at a reduced price.

Thank atherts

We stopped here totally at random while visiting Portland on vacation. We were driving by and could smell the food and figured if it tasted as good as it smelled, we have nothing to lose. The place is tiny and has like 4-6 tables so when it is busy, you are likely not getting a place to sit. There were two people in line in front of us when we walked through the door. The smell of the food was intoxicating, we all had to keep swallowing from our mouths watering. It really does smell that good.

The menu is simple and cheap. Our food came out quickly and hot off the grill. My wife says the poppyseed white sauce is the stuff of dreams. She is still talking about ordering some and having it shipped home! We devoured our servings and ordered another plate of chicken because we just couldn't get enough. The locals we spoke to said this place can have a 2-3 hr wait in the evenings and weekends. I consider us lucky to have stopped in at the perfect time when there wasn't a crowd. I can't understand how this place only has 18 reviews before mine.... but then again with food this good, nobody wants to let the secret out and make their wait times any longer than it already is. Absolutely worth it.

This is a small family run restaurant in a modest storefront.
There is no "decor" or "atmosphere"... Just some of the best Korean style bar-b-que on the West Coast.

The portions are large and the prices are modest - considering the amazing quality of the food offered. This little restaurant has been a popular neighborhood restaurant for over twenty years.
Local people love it. It opened for lunch at 11am. By 11:15 it was full of local people who had eaten there before.

I highly recommend this restaurant.
