Terrific, intimate hall for shows. Decent acoustics, good specialty drinks (Curtis Cup--yum!) and great amenities in the on-site restaurant and gastro pub--and don't miss the rooftop bar when weather allows. One of Portland's better venues though if seeing a band, I'd want room for dancing somewhere. Get there early and you can park beside the building for free, before the attendant shows up. The neighborhood has some great restaurants and bars as well while you're waiting.

Went to see The Mavericks on a Thursday night. Get there early enough and there's $5 parking right next door. Bar inside with bar food (pizza and sandwiches mostly). Not bad, not great. Also a bar upstairs. You can bring food and drinks into the auditorium also. 850 seat auditorium with lower level and balcony. We sat lower level near the sound guy. Great seats as it was general admission seating. Acoustics were so so. Not sure if it was the sound guy or the auditorium. Too much echo on the lead singers voice. But all in all, a fantastic experience. Even easy to get out of the parking lot.

This is an old high school auditorium which has been outfitted with excellent acoustics. There are rows of seats, no dancing, and fair lighting. They serve booze and it looks like there are plenty of parking spaces out back. We had a lot of fun. Get the seats along the side for an unobstructed view. Recommended.

Have been to a number of concerts here; it is a great place for music. But, last night we stopped by for drinks on its rooftop patio -- fantastic views of Portland! Get there early; the place was packed by 5:45.

Probably one of the worst place to see music in Portland, the layout is awkward, the sound is not so great and the staff are not particularly friendly at all. Also if you buy drinks there use cash or check your credit card statements carefully, the bartender in my case added themselves a generous tip that I had to contest with CC company.
