I hate not to give this little cafe a 5 star because the owner and hostess worked so hard and were so friendly, but the food just didn't work for us.
You could tell the ingredients were fresh, but none of the combinations seemed to really go together. We had pretty high expectations, but walked out kind of looking at each other with "what was that about?"
Soft drinks are $4. We've seen $3, but never $4. Anywhere. Otherwise the food pricing was OK for the venue, just not for the result.
Strong reviews otherwise, so it's possible they were doing some experimenting but I'd have preferred something more simple, or something that just hit a home run rather than a soft bunt.
