This restaurant has been established for several years, but we recently tried it for the first time. The menu is somewhat limited, but the food is surprisingly good. Basically, you order your choice of meat, your choice of sauce for the meat, and your choice of one or two sides. It appears that they serve more take out orders than dine in orders. We have now done both: take out and dine in. They also offer catering. It is a small, very basic building, so one should not expect any tropical decor or nice furnishings -- everything is very basic. There is no table service -- you order at the counter and take a seat if you are eating on site. Just keep in mind that the food is what it's all about when you go to the Kona Cafe, and you will not be disappointed. We will continue to patronize this restaurant now that we have finally tried it and enjoyed the food. We have not tried the ribs yet but hope to do so soon.
