We stayed a week at the property as our base for visiting family in Portland etc. We had trip up Mt Hood, Chilled out for a few days by the pool in the evenings, rented movies, and just had a brilliant time. the condo was clean and everything worked well. we had BBQ for 3 nights and we were lucky with the weather as it was high 90's. Due to heat the owners had air con machines put in.
We had a great vacation! The view was beautiful, the amenities were great, and Dotty was fantastic to work with. Thank you again. I would highly recommend this!
The condo is well-appointed and in very good condition. There was a deck and a grill in the back, which overlooked part of a golf course. Free Wifi and a helpful staff made this vacation one of our best. The setting, a little south of Mt. Hood, on the Salmon River, was in between the town of Sandy and Trillian Lake (south of Mt Hood), and not terribly far from the Columbia River (North). We visited wineries and fruit stands in the Hood River area, and that was a bit of a trip, but the roads are quite good. Timberline Lodge is a terrific sight though the restaurant was just average. Government Camp offers good views of Mt. Hood and interesting historical info. Trillian Lake offers the best view of Mt. Hood in a setting that is gorgeous by itself, and it had pretty good walking trails--in some need of repair, but we still got in a good walk.
