Great Food and friendly service. This is not a stop after a long day of hiking kind of place. It is more of an evening out place

Our friends recommended this place and we were glad they did. We had an outstanding dinner with delicious wine and an amazing dessert selection. My husband had the special, a molasses braised pork shoulder which was tender & moist with yukon gold mashed potatoes and cabbage slaw, while I had salmon fish and chips which were breaded lightly, not at all heavy. We had a delicious glass of Willamette Valley pinot noir. And OMG, the desserts! My husband had a lemon pudding cake with raspberry coulis, light and tart and perfect, while my carrot cake with Italian cream cheese frosting was equally delicious. We sat outside on the patio, beautifully surrounded with shrubs, trees and climbing grapevines. Highly recommended!

Went to this restaurant for tapas Tuesday! This was a fun way to discover the culinary accomplishment that this place offers. We split one then ordered two each for ourselves. They were tasty and exploded with flavor! Had a salad and finished with a shared dessert. Wonderful nite out!

This was comfortable, outdoor dining in a charming town. We were seated on the patio underneath beautiful trees. The weather was perfect for sipping wine and taking in the cool mountain air. This was quite refreshing coming from Houston. Service was a bit lax and we waited probably longer then we should have to place our food orders but we were on vacation so we give it a pass. The fried oysters were crispy and sweet, the fresh coho salmon with salsa was very tasty. I give the atmosphere an A+ and food a strong B. For the area, I'd consider this one of the more upscale establishments. It was quite busy for a Wednesday night. Seating was plentiful and food very good. Definitely worth a visit.

We stopped on a Wednesday night on our way back from hiking around Mt Hood. Were seated quickly on the patio. Waitress was pleasant when taking our order then basically never came back to see how we were doing or offer a refill on drinks. The restaurant was not busy. (Another server brought out our food.) Salmon fish & chips was dry & over-cooked. Spinach ravioli had very little flavor & ravioli tasted tough (pre-frozen?). The rigatoni with smoked chicken had a watery tasteless sauce and was basically bland with no flavor whatsoever. When the server came to remove our plates, she never even offered to get us a carry-out container for the almost filled plates....(as if she knew the food was second rate & why would anyone want to take home the leftovers). The pasta dishes were $22 & $20 and totally not worth that price. Nice atmosphere but really bland mediocre food. Stay away, go elsewhere.
