We really enjoyed our stay at these cabins. They are very quaint and affordable for the area. We used them for a mini getaway and to be close to our Huckleberry half marathon morning start line! We loved the pine interior, having a kitchen and a nice bath tub (and hot tub) for soaking after the race!

If you're expecting a private cabin in the woods, you'll be a bit disappointed at how near your neighbors are here. However, the rooms are perfectly appointed, with everything you need and the location could hardly be better for hiking/biking and otherwise exploring the Mt. Hood area. They are also very clean and the parking very convenient.

This is the best place to stay in Welches or anywhere near Mt. Hood. We just finished our fifth stay at the Cabins and as expected, the room was spotless, cozy and convenient to nearly everything. We'll reserve a cabin for next year and in years to come. Thank you Margaret!!

The place is very kitschy! It has some really old stuff outside - an old gas pump, kayak, old phone booth, and an old coke box. It has a full kitchen, a table, tv, queen bed, and bathroom. It also has laundry facility on property. I would stay there again.

Great time at the Shack too. The cabins were only a half a block from my dad very convenient. The owner Margaret was nice to meet her in person we talked on the phone and it is always nice to meet the person you talked to. Thanks the Gadleys!
