When we checked in we had a bit of a problem with our room. Nick Perrotta, the Ast. Manager resolved the issue quickly. Great job on his part and his effort was typically of how the rest of the staff we worked with did.
For example, the weekend we arrived the place was booked solid. The housekeeping staff had a overwhelming amount of work to do -- and they showed creativity in getting this done -- for example, since we hung a "come back later" sign on the door they left us a 'goodie bag" of supplies. As one of the staff told me they did not want us to think that we were forgotten, and they were not sure they would be back to our room anytime soon.
Good location for touring Valley Forge, First State NP in DE and the Brandywine Valley. The hotel is well maintained, and includes a historic 1711 home on the property. We had the suite (even though it is not a one bedroom it is very nice for two people, with the bedroom in a set aside area.More
