Booked a 1230 reservation for Easter. Haven't been here for years if only because 40 mile distance from my home. Will highly recommend!!! From the moment we walked through the door we were treated royally. Conor our waiter was polite, efficient and professional. I was afraid we would be rushed but actually to the contrary. It was a special menu for the day that did not disappoint. Traditional favorites such as lamb, which was tender and tasty, to tuna served several ways. From start to finish all in party enjoyed our meals. Will definetly return soon! Job well done!

I had occasion to stay at The Settlers Inn this past weekend..
My room in this historic building seems to have been recently renovated, beautifully appointed, flat screen tv with cable, complete with a rocking chair. The bathroom tho small, was spotless and also had a Jacuzzi type tub. I couldn't figure out the drain plug, so I showered instead.
There is no elevator so you have to bring your bags up the stairs. They have a brunch on premises. The lobby is wonderfully decorated, with a working fireplace.
This Inn would be grest for a romantic getaway.

Thank John C

Very nice meal - 3 course price fixe for President's Day Weekend. I had the filet which was nicely done. Terrific gouda mashed potatoes. No veggies though. I would have liked some veggies with my supper. My daughter had the wild boar bolognese - excellent! Salad appetizer was delicious. Deviled eggs were just OK. Dessert was good. My only complaint is the service was not great. Tried to order coffee with our dessert but server ran away quickly. Also, she never asked how our meal was or if we needed anything along the way.

My parents took me for breakfast at the Settlers Inn for their country breakfast. The birdseed bread, multigrain toast was excellent with both butter and strawberry jam, there were raspberry muffins, scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, and home fried potatoes. The Electric City coffee was excellent. The service was attentive and kind. I was very pleased with the breakfast.
