We went to Hershey Park this summer with a large group of friends. It was a nice trip for all. (Ages 3yrs - 87yrs.) Of course interests ranged, but we "grouped up" accordingly; so plan to do the same if you're w/various ages and/or interest levels. Some went to watch shows and people watch; while others did various rides and such.

Some chose to get the meal tickets, as it was well worth the price. ($13.50/each & includes large "souviner refillable cup".) You buy the meal tickets and you can choose from a long list (good variety) of restaurants (in the park) to "buy" your food from.

The rides are very nice, and there IS a wide range for ALL age groups/thrill seekers also! ALL were impressed with the rides, and many are "thrill seekers."

You do have to pay for parking of course $12 vehicles ($20 campers). There's also lockers for rent. (large: $20. regular: $15). You CANNOT BRING FOOD IN! You CAN go back to your car and eat a picnic lunch at your car. Be careful of what you do bring as it will either get SOAKED in the waterpark area or banged up in the non-waterpark area! And YES YOU WILL GET SOAKED!!!!!!! In the waterpark.

Plan your trip wisely, as the crowds can be overwhelming I'm sure on school breaks and such! It wasn't bad when we went. Above all, DRESS APPROPRIATELY COMFORTABLE!! They won't let you in waterpark area, if not dressed right. (We didn't have an issue, but did see them enforce the rules.) Plan to LOTS AND LOTS of walking, so wear VERY COMFORTABLE shoes. Plan to carry as little as possible or you'll be VERY UNCOMFORTABLE QUICKLY!! Bring a COMPLETELYwaterproof "bag" to put your bare essentials in or they WILL GET SOAKED!!

Have fun!!

The rides get better every year. They keep improving the park and all the amenities (unfortunately the prices change accordingly). But the park is patterned somewhat after Disney and is always very clean, with nice walkways and nice landscaping. Many good spots for food.

This amusement park has tons to offer from the attractions of rides, to show, a water park, a zoo, I mean this is one stop entertaining. The food prices of course are a bit high along with the bottle water, not sure why anyone needs to charge over 3.00 when you can purchase a case for that, but it is well worth it, in the summer they have little mini mist places to cool off, if your lucky enough to go with a company the meals they serve are really good.

Just got back from Hershey in the Dark and once again it was great! The staff is first rate and always polite. It's a great way to close out the year and my 10 year old loved it!

Hershey Amusement Park in Hershey, PA is well worth the money for a visit. Be sure to go on a day with clear weather; otherwise, there is little to do there. Large roller coasters will delight coaster enthusiasts and the water park is very clean. This amusement park is best suited for children over the age of 10 and 54" tall because the best rides in the park cater to this height category. If you have small children under seven years of age, you would be better off visiting Dutch Wonderland Amusement Park in Lancaster, PA which is completely geared to youngsters.
