After you are taking your ticket you can go by bus or if you like you can walk, by bus I think was 4-5 min.

Stonehenge is a bucket later thing for me and seeing the monument close up should have been awesome.

It was ruined by the fact that this spiritual place is run like a conveyor belt designed to get as many people as possible crammed into shuttle buses and herded to the monument. There is barely room to move let alone enjoy the sights. There is limited interpretation for the surrounding landscape and it felt like you should run up, take a selfie in front of Stonehenge and then get out of the way of the next busload of tourists. The bus then drops you off at the entrance to the gift shop which is the only way out. Didn't get to enjoy this at all, might be ok first thing in the morning and the staff were all really nice but it felt like it was all about the money.

I’ve been at this Stonehenge and I felt breathless how interesting and huge stones are and placed around like that. It’s must visit place and no one will regret doing it. There is car parking around and near high road.
