We went there on Easter Sunday evening for a meal and found that it was not too busy. We were looked after by Laura who was so friendly and helpful, a credit to the company. We both chose the rack of ribs and they were delicious. The meal came with various accompaniments and was really filling. As it is two for one on the main courses it was exceptional value. The only drawback was the fact that they did not have finger wipes to clean your sticky hands after eating the ribs.

Childs meal of pizza, beans and garlic bread: The pizza was microwaved!! Very soggy and not nice at all. My son didn't eat the pizza (6 years old). Adults BBQ Chicken burger, chips and coleslaw: The burger was quite nice but it was served with about 7 chips in total and the coleslaw tasted of fish for some reason. Adults Fish, Chips and mushy peas: The fish was ok, a bit chewy around the edges suggesting it wasn't freshly cooked and again served with only a few chips. The 'mushy' peas were not mushy peas, they were from a tin of processed peas. Side order of 'mini combo' (3 breaded mushrooms, 4 giant wedges and 3 onion rings): The mushrooms were the best part of this side order although that doesn't say much unfortunately. The mushrooms inside were really chewy. The onion rings had been microwaved, they were soggy and seemed uncooked. The wedges were crispy at one point I would imagine but again after being microwaved, they were soggy with a reheated taste to them. Pudding was a 'Brownie Crownie' with custard which again was microwaved and for far too long as it was hard around the edges. The child's chocolate brownie and ice cream was 'lovely' my son said, so not a total loss of the £35 spent! The service was fast, probably because of all the microwaving however. Our waitress came to us quickly for our order but seemed to wander off half way through us ordering so we had to call her back to add things on. We didn't feel she was that interested in or experience and she didn't ask once if everything was ok, not even when she cleared our plates (which we prompted her to do by asking if we could order dessert). Having said that, it IS cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for.

Visited a couple of days ago. We had booked a table for five for 2pm. Checked in at the entrance to the restaurant and just waved to a table. Ok so sat down and waited almost 20 minutes for a server. One eventually came and just stood by the table - no smile and not even asked what we wanted so we just told her drinks and food at the same time. Normally you have the drinks order first and soon after you sit down whilst you decide from the menu. Not this time. Completely disinterested. Waited a long time them for the drinks to the point I even asked where the drinks were to be told the bar will be making them. Again completely disinterested. Drinks eventually came just minutes before the food. Food was as you would expect - reasonable for this type of restaurant. One thing though did disturb us. Something further down the restaurant had obviously upset our server and stomped back to the front in somewhat of a huff and spoke to another server who we then heard to say "absorb all her hatred and express it in her food". We quote. What on earth does that mean???
We have been here before because we have family that live here but the service from completely disinterested staff may well drive us to one of the many other family restaurants in the area.

This place offers 2-4-1 meals on virtually everything, a very pleasant surprise when the bill came.
It's quite a big place restaurant goes on forever, food is not served in the bar which is good, gives you somewhere to chill and have a beer after your meal.

A large amount of us used the hotel next door as we had a family party. The breakfasts took over 45 minutes for 2 English Breakfasts, and an eggs Benedict. When the food came out, the eggs were undercooked the sausages over cooked. Beans luke warm. Bread ran out, tea ran out, sugar, spoons, fruit juices, milk, you name it. NONE.

The staff then proceeded to start to pack the continental side of the breakfast away at 9:50 when there was still people waiting for there cooked breakfasts.

One of my family members ordered a bacon sandwich...it came out on soggy wet bread. She took it to the member of staff and asked for another one. It then came back out on toast. And of course she sent it back again...and next to my HORROR the young boy replaced it with bread right in front of the kitchen door where everyone could see..baring in mind he had just been clearing and wiping tables and didn’t even wash his hands. Poor hygiene. Never mind general common courtesy to wash your hands before handling food produce!

There was only one member of staff working that we saw, who was absolutely rushed off his feet. Shortly after another person joined and helped him..wearing jeans and a coat. Which In my opinion isn’t suitable!!
