Arrived at 7.00 pm. Waiting and waiting for our food order to be taken. Had to ask for this 40 minutes later. Didn't get food till 8.10 pm. Pizza was very burnt and horrible. Young waitress did not check to see if all was ok and completely inattentive. She was cleaning the floor in the room opposite whilst we were waiting! Only saw other waiter once during the whole time. No offer of a refund at the end of the meal. Another table had to ask for their order to be taken. No one ordering desserts due to complete lack of service. People on table next to us very unhappy. This is the worst experience we have ever had in a restaurant. Avoid!.

I visited the old manor house on 9th September, I think this restaurant is one of the best I have eaten in for many a year.
Special mention to Mario, a very helpful and pleasant young man.

Went here for a sunday carvery. Meat was good as was most veg but the yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes were terrible. The potatoes must of been cooked day before and were only slightly warm and soggy. For the amount I spent I would expect better quality.

We come to boscastle every year and have always eaten elsewhere. This year we couldn't get in so looked around for somewhere else. Settling on here. And how pleased we were. Staff very friendly. Although a little slow getting drinks. Definitely not somewhere to go if in a hurry however the food out ways the wait. 2 of us had fish and chips and 2 had scampi. All of it was gorgeous well worth the wait. The home made tartar sauce was lovely. I was going to have carvery unfortunately you have to fetch it from a marquee outside but it was throwing it down and didn't fancy a plate full of dinner and water. We will definitely be returning here next year. Couldn't fault any of our experience.
