We have just returned from our Anniversary 4 day break commencing November 10th. To confirm previous reviews this cottage is a dream in a perfect location. If using Tom Tom sat nav may I suggest you just put in West Taphouse as the location and take the turning from the main road opposite B&B signposted Braddock Church 1 mile, the cottage is on this lane after 1st left hand bend, this will save you taking the next lane along the main road and having to ask a very helpful polite elderly Cornish Gentleman for directions.
The cottage is spotless and has everything you need, the log fire is the icing on the cake for a romantic evening, we will definitely visit again.

“Wayton Barn, the best holiday let ever.”
Reviewed 13 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

My Husband and I were lost for words at how lovely Wayton Barn is. It's home from home! Everything you could wish for in a holiday let, with the added bonus of a real fire how romantic. It's in a great location and easy access to all the things you wish to visit and do in cornwell. Situated down a lane, it is quiet. The perfect get away. We will return.

“A delightful dream”

I could wax lyrical about this delightful cottage forever. Its like something I used to read about in Enid Blyton books - stone cottage, beams across the ceiling, open log fire, Belfast sink, and a lovely private garden overlooked by nothing but the birds, all tucked away down a little country lane. Its also practical too - nice shower, modern cooker, central heating, and an ideal base for exploring Cornwall.
The owners are very friendly but not intrusive. You are met on arrival and shown how the heating and hot water works. The place is immaculate and there are lots of helpful leaflets on places to visit.
I would have no hesitation recommending this place, and no hesitation returning for another holiday. My only complaint is that the owner wouldnt let me swap my house for this delightful dream cottage.

“Good value ,clean and tidy, excellent location.”
Reviewed 3 May 2015 for a stay in April 2015

We stayed for a week in the cottage. Alison meet us on arrival and made us feel very welcome. There is everything you need in the cottage. The location is great for the sea, moors Eden project and Lost Gardens of Heligan plus many other things to do. Lostwithiel is a very charming town/ village . Halfway House is the nearest pub has excellent food.
I certainly would recommend this cottage.

“Lovely little Cottage”

Stayed here for 4 nights at the end of March. Cottage was nice and clean and just right for the 2 of us.
The kitchen was very well equipped with all sorts of cooking equipment, plates bowls, wine glasses, mugs, cutlery, tea towels, utensils and cafetiere etc.
A couple of things I would recommend to take would be cloths/sponges and washing up liquid.
There is a washing machine, iron and ironing board. Hair dryer and towels are provided.
Sat Nav took us one road further than we needed to go.
