This place doesn't look like it's changed much since the '50s - it even has a genuine milk bar section! - but is all the more enjoiyable for it. Friendly service, and nice food.

Great spot to stop for coffee and loved the retro feel of the place. Menu looked good and lovely range of cakes and pies.

We ordered coffees that tasted barely more than milk unfortunately, ordered breakfast, eggs Benedict which was ok but buttermilk pancakes with grilled bananas we ordered with NO cream or ice cream and it came with huge amount of cream and no bananas, girl wasn’t apologetic
Milkshakes were ok though. I wouldn’t go back sorry.

Stopped in for brekky while travelling. Delicious bacon and egg rolls and great coffee. Very accommodating with alternative milk and cook on eggs. Will definitely be back.

We always stop at the White Rose when heading west. Love the food and the really lovely friendly staff.
