“Ok for walks but Falls are not visible”
Review of Minnamurra Falls

The walks here are very good. The top walk is very demanding so you need to be fit to do it. I am fit and was exhausted on returning as its up hill all the way and quite steep.
The fact that there was no way to view the Upper Falls any longer was very disappointing. The Rainforest experience is still worthwhile and staff in the Visitors Centre are very friendly. I actually worked here as a Ranger in the early 80s.

We went to see the waterfalls in March, and we expected the waterfall to be flowing with lots of water. But there was hardly any water. Also, the main lookout point was closed due to repairs. If you have seen better waterfalls before, then this place is not worth the trek. Its a 4.2km return trek and very steep at some of the places. Carry your own food and bottle. the canteen did not have much items to eat except ice creams, muffins and biscuits
The parking costs $12 for the day and there are no charges otherwise

I remembered going to Minnamurra as a kid. So as a day trip we thought we would wonder down to Kiama via the falls. Part of the trail was closed for renovation but that did not deter us from checking out the forest. We did the hike up to the first waterfall which took us about an hour round trip. The hike has many steep hills which gave the old calves a workout. But what a delight to come across lyrebird bridge. Luck was on our side as we spotted two along the path. Seeing these birds really made this worthwhile. The falls were a tad covered by the canopy of trees, and we were not really able to make much out of them. Overall a nice outing. Would recommend it if in the region.

Nice place, good walk, nice kiosk and clean ammenities.

Surprised that there’s no access to a couple of nice natural swimming pools we walk past on the track. I think that would be a massive plus for the place.

Overall a nice experience but disappointed that access to the main attraction (the large waterfall) was closed off to the public. I think this was the case a few years back too.

Good value for money though.

$12 per car.

Beautiful walk, but we went after a long, dry period so will have to return after a big downpour to get the full experience
