We had a double panoramic view room on the top (1st) floor. Good size room for 2 of us. Comfy bed. Great location, close to beaches, main street, lighthouse etc. Nice views over surf beach. Surprised with inclusions not listed on booking website including toaster, bowls, plates and cutlery which made for BYO breakfast and takeaways easily enjoyed on small but functional balcony. Friendly and helpful managers. Whole premises smoking free (if guests respect the rules).
Stayed 2 nights, dated decor however addressed all needs. Large room by modern 'trendy' standards, comfy bed with NO partner disturbance! They are knocking it down in February 2020, so take advantage of this great location and comfortable stay while you still can.
This is a nice motel and my room was well equipped. it came with a microwave, Ironing board, iron, kettle, tea, coffee, biscuits and a fridge with milk. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. My one complaint was that my room was quite small.
We prearranged with staff to make arrangements for a late check in. They did not follow through with this & we had no way to get into our room. They wouldn’t answer their emergency phone contact so we had to try & find alternative accomodation in the middle of the night. They did not follow through with the compensation we had discussed the next morning to cover the cost of the very expensive hotel we had to book when we checked in at 3am
Staff friendly, rooms are a little dated but clean and well presented, we had a balcony which overlooked the rec reserve and sea views. easy parking, only 5 min walk to pub and shops, we enjoyed our stay
