Trying the local restaurants. This place has great drinks (amazing dirty martini, refreshing orange crushes), wonderful warm dinner roll things, and excellent food. Top it off with friendly and attentive service.

Bar with TVs and bar seating and a somewhat separate dining area with well spaced tables and good ambiance.

Highly recommend trying it out.

Our first visit to Kennett Square and after a long day of walking around Longwood Gardens we were happy to sit down for a pleasant meal. Service was very good and we were seated right away with our reservations. A shared appetizer of roasted artichokes was delicious, the salads were fresh and our entrees of chicken marsala and chicken arribiatta were very tasty and we left with enough for the next days lunch. Parking garage is close by with free parking after 5PM.

Made reservations based on tripadvisor and yelp reviews and because we were going to a concert at the Flash immediately behind the building. The Mushroom soup and brussel sprouts were specials of the day and were very flavorful. Only the lasagna was described as average. All other meals were excellent- A pasta, chicken and eggplant and the bronzino. Great service, pleasant but not interfering in conversations or with repeated interruptions. Good wine menu too. Would go back for sure

We had a delicious meal here last week. Superb service and delicious Italian food. Highly recommend the lemoncello martini and artichoke appetizer.
The specials were a lot more expensive than the regular menu but that is par for the course. Great selection on menu. We were all very happy with our meals.

We dined at La Verona with a 5:30 reservation on a Saturday evening. Though empty, the dining room filled up during our stay. The decor is dated and a old (not historic old, just plain old). The menu is average. We had the grilled octopus as an appetizer (go with with fried calamari), a house salad along with an order of Branzino and veal parm. The fish was light and flaky - very light ad good. The veal was ordinary, with a sweet sauce. We split the chocolate cake (go for the cannoli's). Service was attentive. One major disappointment, the bread was a bit stale - unforgiving on a Saturday night.

Overall a good, not great meal at a mid end price. We do suggest reservations. -
