We have been to the bar several times for happy hour, but this was our first time for happy hour on the patio. Absolutely beautiful!
Service here is amazing. So friendly. Our server, Celeste, treated us like long time friends.
Food was fresh and delicious! Vegan flatbread to start. Crab cake sandwich for me. Filled with crabmeat. My husband had a salad with chicken. Chicken was meaty and he said delicious. Their salad dressings are perfect. Chocolate cake for dessert. It was so light!
Drinks also delicious. Raspberry lemonade with muddled raspberries. So refreshing. Rose wine; very fine!
We had a wonderful evening. Planning on going back with a group and reserve the spring house.
The manager has managed to assemble the most friendly service in Chester county!
Will be back...is tomorrow too soon?

Great old Inne with a very nice restaurant near Valley Forge. Easy to find, free parking, and near the train station. The rooms are above the restaurant, but we stayed on the third floor, and it was quiet. There is no elevator if this makes a difference to you.

If you like history, you'll appreciate the character of this old lady. Our "suite" had a 4 poster bed, a sitting area and a bathroom. We were only there for one night but really enjoyed the atmosphere. Lots of the building seems to be original. In the morning we noticed more clearly some cracks here and there, but, hey, this place is an antique. Staff was extremely accommodating. There was a hospitality suite open at all hours. The grounds are private and larger than I thought..... off the beaten path.

Room Tip: rooms are not handicap accessible, winding staircase

My husband and I stayed here for a local getaway night. The centuries-old building is beautiful. Its deep window sills, narrow hallways and steep stairs gave us a sense of life in 17th century Pennsylvania. But some basic amenities were missing: no lamps by the chair or sofa in the sitting room, and only one bedside light that didn't work at all. Also, the bathroom was so tight, my 5'11" husband couldn't sit on the commode without hitting his knees on the opposite wall. Overall, the inn was lovely, and the staff were friendly. We would stay there again and recommend it to others, but ask for a suite w/ a roomier bathroom and plenty of lighting.

Room Tip: Ask for a suite with a view and a roomy bathroom

It's a very old Inn... Quaint, Charming, not very modern but it does have wifi. The staff (bar, restaurant and hotel) are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The bar has a relaxed, friendly local patrons vibe. I would stay again.

Room Tip: It's an old Inn but it has wifi
